Meet Nidal:
Your Family Coach and Mental Health Professional
Helping Parents Understand Behavior and Restore Family Connection
With over 15 years of professional experience, I have supported families navigating complex challenges, including behavioral concerns, family conflict, and trauma.
I am a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) certified by the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO) and a Master Trainer through the Oregon Registry Trainer Program (ORTP) with the Oregon Center for Career Development in Childhood Care & Education.
My work also includes extensive experience collaborating with educators, family advocates, and other professionals to support children and families across diverse communities.
I provide a safe, culturally responsive, and bilingual (English/Spanish) space where families can feel heard, understood, and supported.
My Goal for Every Family
My goal is simple: help families gain clarity, strengthen connection, and move forward with confidence.
You don’t have to navigate these challenges alone. With the right understanding and tools, families can create meaningful and lasting change.
A Different Approach
Not every family challenge requires long-term therapy or a clinical diagnosis. Often, families simply need the right insight and tools to move forward.
My approach focuses on clarity, communication, and practical solutions that help families reconnect and resolve challenges effectively.
Through our work together, we will:
• Understand what your child may be experiencing
• Strengthen communication and connection within the family
• Develop practical strategies for everyday situations
• Create solutions that work for your unique family
Many families begin to experience clarity and relief after just one session. Sometimes, a single conversation can shift how a parent sees and responds to a situation.
Is Family Coaching Right for You?
Family coaching may be the right step if you are feeling concerned, confused, or overwhelmed by what is happening with your child or within your family. Many parents seek support when they notice patterns that don’t seem to improve despite their best efforts.
You may benefit from family coaching if:
• Your child’s behavior has recently changed, and you’re not sure why
• Conversations at home often turn into arguments or frustration
• You feel stuck and unsure how to respond effectively
• You want practical strategies rather than long-term therapy
• You want to better understand what your child may be experiencing
• You are looking for guidance that helps restore connection in your family
Often, families simply need a new perspective, a clearer understanding, and practical tools to move forward.
Through The Northwest Family Coaching Way (NWFCW), we work together to uncover misunderstandings, strengthen communication, and create solutions that work for your family.
Helping Parents Understand Behavior and Restore Family Connection
When a child is struggling, parents often feel overwhelmed and unsure where to turn. You may be asking yourself, “What’s really happening?” or “How do I help my child?”
In many cases, what appears to be a serious behavioral problem is actually a misunderstanding—one rooted in communication gaps, developmental needs, or family stress. With the right guidance, clarity can come quickly.
I founded NW Family Coaching to provide families with a clear, practical, and results-focused approach that helps parents understand what is truly happening and respond with confidence.
